Tulip Festival 2006
Unlike the previous Tulip festivals, this time we wanted to focus on landscape and hand-held macro shots (yes hand-held!). The location of Tulips (within each farm) keeps changing every year. This year, the Tulips were planted in front of couple of barns in the Tulip Town exhibit. This presented a great backdrop for the gorgeous Tulips instead of the usual gray sky!
We also tried some hand-held macro shots (e.g. the Red tulip in the yellow backdrop) in places where it was difficult to setup the tripod. Shallow depth of field and faster shutter speeds helped despite of blowing winds.
